In Sapporo, Japan, Giulio Vierci, the Savoy Chef organised the celebrations. One of the highlights was the Sapporo Qualification round of the Pesto Championship whose winner was Katsuya Mikami. During the unforgettable evening there was a video hook up with the other destinations were the celebrations were taking place such as Buenos Aires, Moscow and Genoa.
